How we protect young athletes — for parents, and for kids.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

GUGA USA LLC operates Tennis Life and is responsible for the privacy practices described in this Notice. This Notice has two parts: a full notice for parents and guardians, and a simple version written for young athletes.

1. For parents: who we are and this Notice

Tennis Life is a coaching product used by junior athletes. A child's account is set up and controlled by a parent or guardian, or the child is managed as a player within a parent- or coach-led team. This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy for information about children.

2. For parents: what we collect about a child

  • Account and profile details, including date of birth used to apply youth protections.
  • Tennis and training information: matches, drills, schedule, ratings, and goals.
  • Health and recovery information only where a parent connects an integration such as WHOOP or Apple Health, or the child records wellbeing check-ins.
  • AI Mentor conversations and derived observations, which stay private to the child's account.

3. For parents: how we use it and who sees it

We use a child's information to provide coaching, training, and the AI Mentor. A child's account starts private. A coach does not automatically get access to the child's journal, private Mentor conversations, or health information; access to sensitive areas requires an explicit permission grant that a parent or the athlete controls, and it can be revoked.

4. For parents: no sale, no targeted ads

We do not sell a child's information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not run targeted advertising to children.

5. For parents: your controls and rights

As a parent or guardian you can review the child's information, control sharing and privacy settings, request corrections, withdraw a connected integration, and delete the child's data or account. You can do this in the app's Parent and Family and Privacy & Legal areas, or by contacting us. You may withdraw consent at any time.

To review the child's data in full: when the child taps "Download My Data" in the app, we do not give the archive to the child. Instead we email a secure link to the parent or guardian address that was verified when you approved the account. The link is valid for 7 days, works up to three times, and the archive is assembled at the moment you download it — it is never stored on our side. You can also request the same export by contacting us at the address below.

  • Your account starts private.
